I want to write for MainHooNaari. What should I know?
Before submitting, please note the following:
- All copyright for submitted content remains with the author, unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Our editors may revise headlines, introductions, or formatting to improve clarity and readability. Any edits that affect the meaning or tone significantly will be discussed with the writer.
- By submitting content, you agree to allow MainHooNaari to republish excerpts for promotion on partner platforms or across our social channels.
- Not all submissions are published. Our editorial team reserves the right to decline submissions that don’t meet our standards or align with our mission.
- Currently, most contributions are unpaid. However, high-performing contributors may be offered commissioned work or brand collaborations over time.
About Submitted Posts
Why is my submitted post marked ‘pending’?
Submissions are reviewed within 7–10 working days. If your post is pending, it means it’s in our review queue.
What does ‘calendared’ mean?
Your post has been approved and scheduled. It will go live within 2 to 15 days depending on our editorial calendar.
What does ‘future’ mean on my dashboard?
This means your post has been successfully scheduled for publication on a future date. You’ll receive a notification once it’s live.
About Published Posts
What is a ‘Featured’ post?
Posts that are exceptionally written, deeply impactful, or address lesser-talked-about but relevant issues may be featured on our homepage and social media platforms.
Why is my title or image different from what I submitted?
As outlined in our contributor terms, titles, images, and intros may be changed to better align with editorial tone, SEO guidelines, or design needs.
Can I request to remove a published post?
Once a post is published, it becomes part of our content ecosystem. Removing it can affect user experience and SEO. Hence, we generally don’t delete published posts unless there’s a valid legal, copyright, or safety reason.
